Coty and I ran in the park today. Oh gosh, it was way tougher than the treadmill. We went at 7PM and it was still 82 degrees. I was not expecting it to be that hard. I only made it 1.75 of the way running. However, this week I ran 12 miles and did a P90x workout. That’s improvement from the past couple of weeks. :)
My new goal is to start running outside more. I need to get used to the weather since the race is outside. And I have a Yoga video my aunt gave me over a year ago that I’m going to start doing once a week. Hopefully it will turn out to be something I do more consistently, but once a week should be a good start.
The best part of my run was the cat and turtle we saw! The cat was really friendly and I’m a little bit worried he may have escaped from a house. But he didn’t have a collar on. He had kind of a Voldemort nose too! I’m sure people in the park feed him. I hope he has some kind of home.

He was moving on. Seriously, I think he was moving faster than I run. haha :) Anyway, he went straight for his turtle house. Now that we know where he lives we are going to look out for him on our runs. He was pretty friendly too.
I did the P90x shoulders and arms workout today. I forgot how much that workout kicks my ass.
We went for a bike ride for about 15 minutes but Coty’s breaks are sticking and won’t let the wheel roll. So, we have to get that fixed before we can ride them again.
My plan was just to run for 2 miles today. However, I ate horribly and felt like crap so it was more of a run/walk for the 35 minutes I was on the treadmill. Tomorrow is a day off running so I’m thinking I might do some 30 Day Shred or P90x. Hopefully I can get the motivation to make that happen.

In 50 minutes, and I ran for a full 35 minutes(or 3 miles). So: walk 3/run 35/walk 12.
This is the first time I’ve ever ran/walked/crawled for a full 4 miles so I’m freaking ecstatic! I’m still kinda slow…but at this pace I could finish the 10 miler in around 2 hours and 10/15 minutes. I would love to finish the race under 2 hours. Since I have until September, I think I can! :D
